How We Offset The Costs
Of Your Free Profile
We fund
your profile by a concept known
as strategic alliance marketing whereby
companies with a vested interest
in your success are invited to
join a group of potential sponsors
advertising their products and
services alongside the profile.
Profiled
companies simply put together
a list of their suppliers and
we do the rest.
We will
write to them with details of
the invitation to promote their
company within this profile.
At this point I must stress the invitational nature
of this proposition. The Planet
Group is also a major international
PR Agency and we dont attract
new clients by offending anyone!
Also, many advertisers are so
happy with the professional way
their services are represented
they go on to have their own
profiles done by Planet, eg.
Interclean, who provide a range
of valeting services, were delighted
by the way they were promoted
within the Reg Vardy profile
and subsequently put together
their own list of suppliers,
from cleaning chemicals to accountants,
and in this way got their own
free profile.
Benefits
to Suppliers
The benefits
of having your own profile are
numerous but there are also several
benefits to your suppliers.
1) We provide
a free artwork and design service.
We have received many letters
complimenting us on the quality
of this service. Again this is
in our interests because advertisers
may ask us to handle all their
promotional output. The appeal
of a free artwork design service
is particularly attractive to
smaller suppliers. Imagine you
supply a few widgets and yet
have got the designer who led
the BMW profile working on your
ad. We can also supply advertisers
with a digital copy of their
artwork so they can use it again
and again, and as the basis of
any marketing they may do.
2) Nothing
quite sells the services of a
company better than to see those
services advertised alongside
a company that uses them. Your
profile will dramatise their
services in a way a stand-alone
advert will never do. This is
where the concept of the strategic
alliance really comes into
its own.
3) The profile
means you are marketing your
company. Effective marketing
means more business. More business
means youre spending more
with your suppliers, at which
point the concept of strategic
alliance marketing is really
plain old-fashioned common sense.
The Marketing Manager of one
leading company was delighted
to be asked to advertise. His
comments arent printable
but the gist of it was that one
of his customers was now doing
some marketing instead of holding
meetings about marketing.
Moving
Things Forward
In the first
instance we can help you with
suggested categories of suppliers
and examples of lists put together
by other companies.
Please call
us on 01484 321000 and ask for
Andy Hirst ( Commercial Project
Manager - Automotive Divison
). A friendly face in Accounts
can usually put a list together
in fifteen minutes. We then spend
a couple of weeks liasing with
suppliers which gives you the
opportunity to think about what
you want to say in your profile.
We have a specialist team within
this department covering all
aspects of the motors industry.
Some examples of motoring companies
we have produced brochure for
are BMW, Fords of Windsford,
Furrows Ford, Hardwick Motors,
Lookers and Reg Vardy.
If you
require further information
on our brochures, please either
send us an e-mail by clicking here or
telephone us on 01484 321000
- asking for Andy Hirst.
